Made With Creative Commons translated into Indonesian

Made With Creative Commons, which we published in 2017, has since the publication been reworked far and wide around the world. This is made possible by the open license under which it is published, and furthermore something that we as publisher highly encourage: Please share and remix it!

The latest addition to the list of international reworks has been done by an amazing group in Indonesia, who over the last few months have been translating the entire book into Indonesian, and since has published a digital version on April 5, 2019. The publication was marked with an event in the city of Yogyakarta titled “Kenali Hakmu, Bagikan Karyamu” (in English: “Know Your Rights, Share Your Works”) where approx. 100 people took part (more photos here).

All attendees received a specially printed version of the book, and furthermore a batch of printed books will be distributed to libraries all over Indonesia. If all goes well we will be able to share images of this later on.

A big thanks to Hilman Fathoni from Creative Commons Indonesien (+ team) as well as to Creative Economy Agency of Indonesia for their joint work on the translation and publication, and for thereby contributing to spreading Sarah and Paul’s book to a larger audience.
